Afghanistan was a fiasco and our woke military, political leaders will never be held accountable

This week the three top Generals testified they advised President Biden if we left Afghanistan completely and suddenly their govt and military would collapse immediately.  They recommended leaving a small force behind for Counterterrorism, and to protect any remaining diplomatic presence.  

 Yet, Biden said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos that the Generals DID NOT recommend leaving a force behind, as far as he could recall.   Either President Biden is lying, or the Generals are lying. They all refuse to accept responsibility or be held accountable for the greatest military fiasco in decades.  That’s reprehensible.  But if Biden genuinely can’t remember details about the most important military decision of his presidency – that’s  terrifying.
