There is not now and has never been one Taliban, and that’s what is happening now. Now that we’re gone, they’re back to fighting each other. Sunni extremists are killing Shiites and Uyghurs. The only good news is they’re too busy killing each other and settling scores that they’re not killing the Americans we left behind, as far as we know.
